The Ski area has a moderate size, as yet still underdeveloped lift system and now the largest snowmaking system in the Southern Hemisphere, and growing. In a Country better known for Coral Reefs and Golden Beaches we are lucky to be able to ski at all. Thredbo has a great Village all easily walkable with great Restaurants, Shops and Bars.
