Squaw Valley USA, site of the Winter Olympic Games in 1960, is a legendary vacation destination plunked down squarely at the end of a gorgeous Sierra valley. Squaw's terrain may seem endless to those trying to conquer it, with 33 lifts, including North America’s only Funitel and an aerial Cable Car, access six peaks, 4,000 acres and 2,850 vertical feet of terrain.

Ski in-out condo-hotel luxury accommodations. Forty hotels within eight miles of Squaw Valley. Overnight facilities in Tahoe City six miles, Truckee nine miles; RVs welcome at resort but no hookups.

An 18-hole, par 72 golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. sits nestled in Squaw Valley. Full service amenities are available on-site. The Adventure Center sports new 50 foot tree house towers, giant swing, hands-on team building and recreation activities for all. Squaw Valley also offers cable car rides, tennis courts, swimming lagoon and spa, hiking trails for all abilities, pony rides, or tour the area on horseback (choose one hour, two hours, or half day package). Stop by the Olympic Ice Pavaillion, open for skating throughout the spring and summer. Skate rentals and lessons are available on-site.
