    Vail is perfection

    Vail - pretentious, over-rated, facade on a major hightway

    Pros: good intermediate mountain

    Cons: no expert terrain of note, over-priced, over-crowed, and over-run with people who say epic

    i've been to over a dozen resorts from Colorado to California to New Hampshire. Vail was the biggest let-down. Lots and lots of terrain, but their was nothing extreme or noteworthy and... Full review

    Like nothing on Earth

    Pros: Great snow, lots of lifts, variety of terrain

    Cons: Costly!

    I've skied for 30+ years from New England to California and have yet to ski a resort as vast as Vail. It is absolutely wonderful! Even in the middle of Spring Break... Full review

    Vail is epic

    Pros: Terrain, snow

    Cons: Crowds, expensive (parking!), difficult to navigate on mountain, super resorty

    Vail is an experience unto itself. It is huge and has vast amounts of terrain with tons of expert stuff. But it is usually crowded, which exasperates the difficulty in getting around... Full review
