Wolf Creek is a high alpine ski resort, 10,300 feet at the base and 11,900 feet at the summit, located in southern Colorado on scenic U.S. Highway 160. Its versatile terrain includes 1,600 acres along a high alpine ridge serviced by two triples, two doubles, one quad chairlift, and one magic carpet. Average snowfall is 465 inches earning the area its reputation for "The Most Snow in Colorado."
No lodging on site, but condos, cabins, standard rooms, bed and breakfasts, and dormitory style lodging are available at both Pagosa Springs (23 miles west of the ski area) and South Fork (18 miles east of the ski area).
Wolf Creek Lodge offers full service cafeteria; Prospector grill and cafeteria; Pathfinder Bar, full service; Apres Ski in Pagosa Springs and South Fork. Base Camp picnic building. First aid room. Rental and sport shop at area; shopping and services nearby. Wolf Pup for ages 5-8 years. School instruction offers classes in racing, powder, beginner's package, snowboarding lessons; Hot Shot Ski & Snowboard program for ages 9-12, experienced skiers. Child care in Pagosa Springs and South Fork.
Lessons and rentals available for snowboarding on site. Natural terrain available to challenge snowboarders of all abilities.
