Spent a week in Les 2 Alpes, last week in January - it was great, the slopes weren't too busy and we were lucky with the weather, glorious sunshine and clear skies - we had no snow fall the week we were there which meant we couldn't ski down to the resort as the slopes are really challenging without enough snow on - but there are 3 cable cars, our hotel was on teh edge of the pistes and only a short walk to the 'red eggs' which we never qued for longer than 5 mins to get up the mountain and give you a good starting point - also theres a handy restaurant at the top of the 'red eggs' for a beer before decending to the resort! The resort its self has lots of bars and restaurants (although most seem to be pizzeria's!!). A trip to Smokey Joe's behind the Jandri express lift is well worth it. Would recommended this resort to a friend of any skiing level!
