I agree prices are what you would expect at a much larger resort. Amenities are very poor as well. Wish something was closer and I wouldn't go here.

Villa Olivia is very expensive for what is offered there. Last visit on 12/29/07 was very crowded with young novice snowboarders who were very reckless and rude (caused several accidents and cut in at tow rope lines). Villa Olivia instructors threatened to take away slope tickets a handful of times, but threats were not followed through. This caused dangerous situations for my youngster who was just learning how to ski herself.

ONLY reason to go there… location, location, location… If you live in the south Chicago suburbs and don’t want to pay an additional $60 bucks for gas to go to Wisconsin, it’s an ok substitute for the bunny hills… just make sure to dress your youngsters in football gear before putting them out on the slopes.

Villa is the closest to Chicago and that is the only reason I occasionally go there. I feel the prices are way to steep for what they offer and its usually extremely crowded.
