We rode Sunday, 4/6/08 and it was so nice we went back the next day 4/7/08. There is still tons of snow. Check it out for yourself. You will be pleasantly surprised!
We had the opportunity to ski Attitash 2/23-27 and it was great. Dispite the end of the holiday week sat and sun were almost line free. The snow was great, and we were there for one of their biggest dumps this year on tue feb 26- 15+ inches-Wow.
Overall, the mountain is great. It would be better if the connection between Bear and Attitash was easier, but the more I ski Attitash the more I like it.
It is a bit of a hike to get to bartlett, I find going over 302 from 93 is easier than 16 through conway.
Give it a try. Its is a good place to try.

I don't understand the user's awful review from 3/3 at all...We have been Attitash passholders (ASC before this year) for the past 5 years now. I've been skiing there for fifteen years overall. I cannot get over how friendly and welcoming the staff is here! From the parking lot folks, to the ski and bag check to the (majority of) lift operators and ski patrol. I give them an A+ for customer service! Sure, the lift ticket pricing is pretty high, but it's like that at almost EVERY mountain these days...that is one of the major reasons we opt to buy the pass.
Apres ski is pretty good too, although we did encounter a cranky waitress this past Saturday...I guess you can't be spot on 100% of the time.
We especially like Attitash because we can go there with skiers of various levels and still stick together for most of the day (mixing it up with a detour here and there and then meeting up again at a trail merge so everyone is still skiing within their ability).
One thing on my wish list though...put in a high-speed quad up to the summit on Attitash (pretty please!!!) :)

Do not ski here. Overall, we had a horrible experience. The staff here is rude, and self-centered. We did not feel welcome at all. Plus, it is very expensive. Way too crowded. Long lift lines. Don't ski here

We went on the Saturday after Thanksgiving and it was by far the best conditions for November that I can remember. I ride 20-30 days a year and was impressed with the great start that Attitash/Bear Peak has to the season. There was a small terrain park but it was only rails and boxs, not one kicker, what gives? My only other beef is the summit lift on Attitash Peak. It services such great terrain but that old lift sinks. Put in a detachable!!

I personally love Attitash's great variety of terrain. I love there new sophisticated snow machines that produce large amounts of snow. You can walk into the base lodge at either mountain, Attitash or Bear Peak. This is a great way to lure in customers also with the fact that if you dont want to ski from one mountain to the other, you can take a shuttle to either mountain. I love skiing Attitash also because it is very homy like and you will love it to.

we went skiing on the 2 of feb 07 the skiing was great for most of the day the blue trailes were scratchie in the middle, around 2:00 p.m. if you could ski the black's & dub. blacks they were great, and on bear mt. there was no one on it. try to ski attitash mid week 20-30 runs not un heard of. ski strait & fast enjoy.
Attitash is in great shape considering the lack of snow this winter. I had the opportunity to ski yesterday and the conditions were, to say the least, excellent. The grooming was very good with lots of nice corduroy top to bottom. The trails are definitely old school narrower than many newer areas, but steep and fun. Lets hope for some more powder and good snow making weather to take Attitash to the next level. I can't wait to go back soon.

We are regulars at Attitash and love it. My three kids, ages 10, 8, & 4 have taken group & private lessons and get compliments on their skiing whenever/whereever we are on the snow. The trail layout is great for groups to break up and join together again at a merge or at the lifts. Attitash is a great mountain with terrain for everyone, make the trip & love the skiing! Like everywhere, the prices are getting steep, but with discounts through Mobil's Ski3 and Edge Cards it will hurt less. Keep up the good work!
Attitash is not the resort to learn at but is great for intermediate and expert skiiers. They have one of the steepest peaks (Bear Peak) and challenging race courses.
