Arêches and Beaufort are picturesque and traditional Savoyard villages below the Beaufortain Massif, the lifts ascend from above Arêches to slopes beneath the Grand Combe. There is additional, part-linked skiing from Le Planay (1200m).

Snowboarding is allowed on all runs and the first 'natural' snowpark in France was established here. It includes snowboardcross, hip and slopestyle. Open to both boarders and skiers.
