  A very sad mountain situation

  Pros: Beginner trails isolated from other trails, Good views

  Cons: Overcrowded and small, lots of trudging between lifts

  Wachusett is better than Nashoba Valley, but it isn't that great. In fact, it's a pretty sad situation. Lots of trails have potential to be great mountain cruisers, but are very crowded... Full review

  Good for a day trip

  Pros: The best close option for Southeastern CT

  Cons: Busy, small and crowded

  Caters to snowboarders and unsupervised kids and teens. Sometimes the place is literally crawling with them. Many kids are dropped off there for the day, and on weekday afternoons several buses full... Full review
