Locals skiing and riding Marmot Basin have enjoyed the resort's new express quad this year, and they still have weeks left. Other resorts may be winding down operations for the season, but Marmot plans full operations to run until April 25. Lift ticket deals and lodging-lift packages are available through the end of the season, too.

Edmonton skiers and riders can get 10 percent off the price of lift tickets for Marmot through the end of the season. Lift tickets are on sale at select Edmonton ski shops and AMA Travel offices. The tickets allow purchasers to go straight to the lift without waiting in a ticket window line.

Those looking for lift and lodging packages for the resort can get a midweek ski and stay package through April 25. Mountain Park Lodges-a consortium of Jasper hotels--is offering 30 percent off their midweek ski and stay packages.

The packages, which include one night accommodation Sundays through Thursdays, a lift ticket, and a winter coupon book, are available at $92.50 per person with the rate based on double occupancy. The price is based on a standard room at the Marmot Lodge.

Weekend packages are available as well as other room types, but rates are higher. Other Mountain Park Lodges-Amethyst Lodge, Lobstick Lodge, and Chateau Jasper-run ski and stay packages, too.
