Diamond Peak Says 'Try Something New'

The bikeboard, sort of a steerable, wheel-less snow scooter, is the latest contrivance to get the most out of winter. Diamond Peak will let you have a chance to check out the contraption – and perhaps win one – in its bikeboard demo and race weekend March 22-23. You can try out the bikeboard Saturday and then, on Sunday, compete in a parallel slalom for men, women and kids. The grand prize is a bikeboard worth $648. There is a $20 registration fee, and you can register at swissbikeboard.com.
