Sunshine Boosts Rogers Terrain Park

The recent opening of the Grizzly section of Rogers Terrain Park at Sunshine Village added four new acres of features. That addition upped the park's size by one-third. Skiers and boarders now can access the full 12 acres of jumps, boxes, and rails. "We're really excited about all the new features which add so much more to our terrain park experience," said Tim Hyndman, Terrain Park Supervisor. "We've received extremely positive feedback about the four biggest and boldest jibs we've ever built at Sunshine Village." Grizzly highlights include four large and extra large jibs. One is a 24-foot-long by four-foot-high box, professionally painted by local artists Don Petersen and Anthony Orsatti from New World Samurai Tattoo Studio in Canmore.
