Dreading that seven-hour haul from L.A. to Mammoth? Well, Horizon Air will cut that time down by quite a bit with its new nonstop service from LAX to Mammoth Yosemite Airport this season.

The 65-minute flights, which begin daily service Dec. 18 and run through April 12, 2009, will cost $99 each way; but on selected days in January, the price will be reduced to $75.
