Here's a winter oasis when you need it. Here's a winter oasis when you need it.

Paoli Peaks, located in southern Indiana between Indianapolis, Ind. and Louisville, Ky., is an oasis in the winter for snow-starved skiers and riders in both the Hoosier and Bluegrass States.

The ski area offers a bit over 300 feet of skiing and riding terrain for the lower Midwest. The hill is open until 9:30 or 10 p.m. daily, and they throw in a few Midnight Madness days throughout the season.

An unlimited season pass is now on sale through Sept. 19 for $249. It goes up $80 the following day.

The first 500 people to purchase a pass by that date will receive two snow passes for each of Peak Resorts' two Ohio ski areas, Mad River Mountain and Boston Mills/Brandywine.
