Mt. Seymour Skier Awarded $500K
Peter Kralik, 50, an experienced skier, broke his right shoulder and was awarded damages and lost wages after a B.C. Supreme Court Justice determined Kralik's accident was caused by the negligence of one of the resort's lifties.
The court concluded the operator wasn't paying close enough attention and failed to react appropriately as Kralik fell off the Mystery Chair.
