Traverse City Offers Festival Of Senses

A multitude of artistic, athletic, culinary, and cultural events are scheduled Sept. 13-23 in Traverse City. Visitors can choose among symphony concerts, art exhibitions, gourmet meals, bicycle races, and historical reenactments. Events include the Traverse Epicurean Classic, Leelanau Vintners' Harvest Stompede, and Tour de Leelanau – a European-style cycling road race – and Leelanau Harvest Bike Tour. See the heart of northern Michigan snow country before the snow hits.
