Cranmore Runs Weekend Night Rides All October

Cranmore's Ghoullog promises a haunted mountain full of spooky fun this Halloween. Cranmore's "Ghoullog" promises a haunted mountain full of spooky fun this Halloween.

Cranmore Mountain Resort celebrates Halloween every weekend in October by loading the quad for an after-dark haunted mountaintop tour.

Kathy Bennett of Cranmore says the Ghoullog will be bigger, scarier, and more fun than ever with new haunts, animatronics, a children's Halloween Harvest Festival, and outdoor food court.

Tours start in the Eating House lodge at the base of Cranmore Mountain and include a nighttime stroll through a haunted walkway to the Quad and a seven-minute ride to the 2,000 foot summit.

The Ghoullog will run 7 to 10 p.m. Oct. 2 to 4; Oct. 10 to 12; Oct. 17 and 18; Oct. 24 to 26; and Oct. 30 to Nov. 1. Children's Halloween Festivals will be offered 5 to 8 p.m. on those dates, with a mini corn maze, bouncy house, obstacle course, Halloween crafts and a scavenger hunt. Ghoullog tickets are $25, are limited in availability, and can be reserved online here, or by calling the resort at 603-356-5544. Children's Festival tickets are $10.
