Colorado Ski Country USA once again is offering its 5th Grade Passport to Colorado school children.

The passport provides 5th grade students with three days of skiing or snowboarding this winter at each of 21 participating resorts, including, but not limited to, Aspen Highlands, Aspen Mountain, Buttermilk, Crested Butte, Durango Mountain, Echo Mountain, Monarch, Powderhorn, Ski Cooper, Snowmass, SolVista, Steamboat, Sunlight, Telluride, and Wolf Creek (the passes will not be valid at the Vail Resorts of Vail, Beaver Creek, Keystone. or Breckenridge, however).

That's 63 days of skiing and snowboarding. Plus, passport holders will receive other discounts on lessons, rentals, tickets for mom and dad, and more throughout the season.

All of this comes at no cost. (There's a similar promotion for 6^th graders, that is good for four days at each of the aforementioned resorts, but it costs $99.)

To register, visit the 5th Grade Passport page, or pick up paper applications for the at public and private 5th grade classrooms throughout Colorado the first week in October. The applications also will be available after Oct. 5 at Colorado Ski & Golf outlets in Arvada, Aurora, Colorado Springs, and Littleton and at the dozen Wahoo's Fish Tacos restaurants scattered throughout the state.

But be quick about it: Supplies are limited.
