Skiers and riders can save $50 off those prices for the second pass purchased in the same family; save another $50 for the third pass; and another $50 for the fourth.

Buy before Oct. 31 and save another $50 off those prices.

Nashoba opened in 1964 with four rope tows and four slopes. That winter was wet and warm, and skiing lasted 14 days.

"The base lodge was gravel floor and heated by a pot-bellied stove, and staff had to pack the snow on the slopes with shovels due to lack of grooming machines," the area reports.

The area expanded over the years, and now operates with four chairlifts, two conveyers, and four rope tows, with a combined uphill capacity of 11,600 skiers/riders per hour.

Nashoba has 21 trails, a terrain park, and a snow tubing park.
