The weather is beginning to get a bit chilly, and the folks at Qwest Field Event Center hope you get the fever – the Ski Fever, that is.

The latest in the four decade run of the Seattle Ski Fever and Snowboard Show, which will be held Oct. 24-26, features the usual expo fare, including one of the Northwest’s largest ski swaps that will feature new and used ski and snowboard clothing and equipment.

You also can save up to 70 percent on the latest ski and snowboard gear from such Seattle-area retailers as Sturtevant’s, Boarderline, Mt. Pilchuck Ski & Sports, Snowboard Connection, Alpine Hut, Evo, 35th Ave Snowboards, Seattle Ski & Sports, Ski Mart, Zumiez, Nollies Board Shop, and Helly Hansen.

Show goers can also check out the latest information from a variety of winter resorts, which will have representatives manning booths at the expo.

Show hours are 1-10 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m.-8 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. on Sunday. Admission, which includes an opportunity to score 2-for-1 lift tickets at Mission Ridge, Big White, White Pass, or Stevens Pass, is $11 adults, $3 for juniors (6-12), and free for kids.
