Sun Peaks, B.C., is known for its sprawling 3,678 acres of skiing and snowboarding across three mountains. Its 122 runs and 12 gladed zones tour through interior mountain powder.

The resort has put together several packages for this winter with attractive rates for skiers and snowboarders. The package rates are all based on double occupancy in a standard hotel room or studio suite, but upgrades to condos or townhomes are also available. Check for ease of ski in-ski out access when you make your reservation. 

The best deal is their Stay and Ski Free package. Rates start at $380 per person. The package includes four nights of accommodations and four days of skiing-all for the price of three.

The Destination Sun Peaks package combines one night accommodation with one day of skiing or snowboarding. Rates start at $119 per person.

The resort also offers other packages that add in spa treatments, snowmobile tours, dog sledding, sleigh rides, and snowshoe tours.

All packages are valid Nov. 22, 2008, through April 13, 2009; however, blackout dates apply. These are Dec. 26 - Jan. 1 and March 16-20. Call Sun Peaks Central Reservations at (800) 807-3257 to book.
