Spring Skiing In January

The area lists surface conditions as packed powder, although the temps of the last few days make this somewhat unlikely. Skiers and riders might expect to find ample cover, but springlike conditions, with soft snow that is transforming into corn. Many might find this January thaw to be a welcome change, after the bitter conditions of December.
