  Pros: powder & glades

  Cons: flat runouts, when the weather is harsh

  love jay for what it is. can you do anything more? lots of powder...lots of tree skiing. friendly atmosphere. good terrain -- and, oh yeah, off piste riding. i care about good... Full review

  When the wind is calm...

  Pros: The Challenge, The Glades

  Cons: Windy! The mountain get extremely windblown. There is nothing else up there to do!!

  We have been to Jay Peak a few times. They have excellent glade skiing there, that is where all the snow goes as everytime we've been there it has been so windy.... Full review

  frequent visitor for 30+ years

  Pros: best in the east for big snow, tough accessibility, few posers

  Pros: friendly, great snow, fun village, great international feel
