SCOTT Vertic Tour Jacket review. OnTheSnow reviewed this shell jacket as part of its 2016/2017 Jacket Buyers' Guide.

Favorite Features: The Vertic Tour is SCOTT’s “technical uphill ski touring jacket.” This translates into a no-frills, hardcore shell meant to regulate a mobile skier’s body temp. Two Gore-Tex fabrics make this jacket tough on the outside, while seamless pack-friendly shoulders make it comfy on the inside. Choose the Vertic Tour if you skin before you grin.

Room for Improvement: The Vertic Tour offers nothing in the way of internal stash pockets or storage. With just two oversized exterior chest pockets, locating smaller items may become a slopeside treasure hunt.

Fit: This jacket runs small, especially along the bottom hem. Consider sizing up unless you’re looking for a super slim fit.
