Breckenridge Rated Best Terrain Park

Newsroom Resort Features Breckenridge Rated Best Terrain Park

OnTheSnow.com’s visitors and app users have chosen Breckenridge as the ski resort with the best terrain park in North America in its annual Visitors’ Choice Awards for the 2023-2024 season. OnTheSnow’s users, who take millions of destination ski trips each winter, rated and reviewed the resorts they visit for characteristics such as terrain, après -ski, family friendliness, terrain parks, and more. Breckenridge was rated no. 1 as the best resort for terrain park features.

“A big shoutout and Breck High Five to our parks crew for this award and all their work to bring a new terrain parks plan to life this year! With the upgrade of the new Five chair on Peak 8, including a new alignment, the park crew took the opportunity to reimagine the layout and design of our terrain parks across the resort this season, including moving our largest park over to Freeway in order to offer an easily lap-able terrain park experience utilizing the new lift. Our parks crew and our skiers and riders were also stoked to see the return of an 18-foot halfpipe in Freeway this year, as well as a progression-focused build across our three parks, from small to medium to large.” – Sara Lococo, Senior Communications Manager

About Breckenridge

Breckenridge is home to 3 progression-focused parks, consisting of a small and medium park on Peak 9 and a large park on Peak 8. New for this past season, the resort debuted its high-speed Five SuperChair on Peak 8 to provide park riders fast and easy access. This resort has it all, from ride-on features and small jumps, to boxes and rails, to large jumps and features, including an 18-foot halfpipe. It’s no wonder why it’s considered one of the best spots for progression-friendly freestyle skiing and riding.
