Snow Reporter Comments: Onward into May! We’re thrilled to be skiing and riding this late in the season, powered by 539 inches of snow since October, including 41 inches in April. Our mid-mountain base is currently sitting at 88 inches, enough to propel us to Closing Day on May 12. Link, Moonbeam, Apex, Powderhorn, and Eagle lifts are open daily, providing access to 39 runs and our Main Street terrain park. The Magic Carpet is open for beginners looking to get their footing for next season. We’re expecting mostly cloudy skies today with a high of around 36 at the top of Powderhorn. Temperatures will be warmer in the base areas. Expect firm snow to start the day, followed by softening conditions as the day progresses. Seek out the sun on wide open trails like Sunshine Bowl and Main Street. Our grooming crew continues to lay down corduroy on 16 trails nightly. Spring conditions exist, including thin coverage in some areas and frozen tracks from spring grooming.
